Though primarily identifying as a dance artist, Kayla first found an interest in producing and administration through organizing informal dance showings while at SFU. Through internships, Kayla had the opportunity to gain administrative experience working with plastic orchid factory and independent artist Chick Snipper while completing her degree.

Post-graduation, Kayla had the pleasure of working as a technical coordinator for the Inaugural Gala for the Max Wyman Award, collaborating with plastic orchid factory as an associate producer for MAYDAY's Animal Triste, and currently as the Programming Coordinator for the Training Society of Vancouver and the General Administrator for Co. ERASGA.

Using her passion for writing and organizing, Kayla works with the goal of assisting small collectives and independents by maximizing their productivity outside of the studio so they can focus on their creative process.
