Kayla is a dance artist, human, enthusiastic coffee drinker, administrator and producer. She endeavours to use all these qualifiers (and gain new ones) to continually expand and regenerate her movement practice.

Kayla De Vos
is an emerging dance artist and administrator currently based on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples (Vancouver, B.C.).
Graduating from Simon Fraser University’s School for the Contemporary Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2017, Kayla had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Rob Kitsos, Peter Bingham and Chick Snipper, act as an understudy for Company605, and apprentice and perform with plastic orchid factory.
She has trained nationally and internationally, most recently participating in a 9 day intensive creation process with choreographer Allan Falieri, presenting a work-in-progress (“Must Be Made by All”) at the Larnaca Biennale in November 2018.
She currently works as the General Administrator for Co.ERASGA, sits on the board of the Training Society of Vancouver, and guests as an associate producer for plastic orchid factory.
